At The Ben Arkes LIFT™ Center, our goal is to remove traditional barriers to employment, hire incredible people right here in Chicago, and offer them priceless on the job training and career development skills they can take with them throughout the rest of their careers. But there is so much more to do. We need to outfit the space with the supplies we need, and on-board more associates with the training & resources they need.
LIFT™ Program Needs:
On-board THREE new part-time LIFT™ Program associates with a goal for full-time in 2023. This includes:
• Leadership training and career development: LIFTOFF™
• Educational & cultural opportunities: LIFTU™
• Nutrition education & healthy meals/snacks for Program associates: FORKLIFT™
Our new program associates will also need:
• Three new wax melters & tables to meet the demand of LIFT™ bath & spa goods
• Six month supply of aloe, scents, and oils, to create more LIFT™ spa goods
• Updated software & additional hardware to improve our shipping & fulfillment needs
The expanded space will enable our LIFT™ Program to provide valuable employment opportunities and career development skills for our affiliate associates – participants from our workforce development partners:
