ABOUT HHPLIFT
At HHPLIFT we see challenges as opportunities, not barriers.
We are a 501c3 non-profit with a mission to create job opportunities for individuals with barriers to employment. We do this by partnering with socially responsible organizations around the globe to provide sustainable livelihoods for groups such as:
- Individuals with barriers to employment in Chicago
- Disabled and unemployed veterans in Chicago
- The legally blind in Chicago
- Women artisans in Cambodia and Colombia
- Impoverished artisans in India
- Severely disabled artisans in Sri Lanka
HHP brings their products to the forefront, and to expanded markets that they never dreamed possible. This exposure and expanded business provides critical services such as free healthcare, daycare, clean water, and more. It also boosts self-esteem and empowerment for the artisans.
We are so passionate about lifting people out of poverty, we even have our own spa goods workshop and job creation program here in Chicago, 1eleven®. At 1eleven®, individuals with barriers to employment are on-boarded to produce beautiful spa goods. They are quickly cross-trained through our leadership program to learn all facets of HHP's business with the goal of success at HHP and beyond.
We believe that by creating pathways out of poverty for individuals and communities, we can SPARKCHANGE that will improve the lives of the underserved and overlooked for generations to come.
